Sometimes we think heroes always have to be someone who has done something that makes the

history books or the news but often great things happen in smaller ways. Heroes can be the people

you are around every day like your mom and dad or a teacher or someone who's just going to work

every day. The world works because many people are doing small things in their little part of the

world. So tonight our story is going to be about a hero I know personally, my grandmother, who did

great things for her family and those around her.
