Welcome to Inklings. I am Emily Bell Freeman, and I'm so excited to welcome you to a space where you and I get to experience a hint of something more together.

This is a community where we lean into discussions that will help us obtain a bedrock understanding of the doctrines of Christ.

semester with you as we embark on a journey focused on becoming his.

Some two inklings.

So many good things to talk about today.

We're going to be in Elder Sandino-Roman's talk.

It's called Faith, a Bond of Trust and Loyalty.

And that's what we're going to be thinking about and learning about today is this idea of the three of those together, faith, loyalty i'm so interested in the like the trifecta of that the three um legged stool of that the faith trust and loyalty have your mind be thinking

about that just as we're diving into this idea of

what does that actually look like. And so that's what we're going to be thinking about.

We also love about this talk, the footnotes. So we're going to be spending quite a bit of time in

the footnotes. There's going to be things there that we're going to want to think about and learn from.

I can't decide if it's fun or to start in the footnotes or if it's funner to start in the talk.

But one of my favorite things that happened is he came up with his own Hebrew word for us

for this week, which is in the footnotes.

And so I loved as I was reading through the talk thinking, oh, he got everything totally

ready for us.

We have his thoughts on these three things.

And then I love when he gave us that word.

And maybe we'll just start with that, with the word.
