What's up, guys, Rick here with your preview for this week, Sanderson Farms Championship. I realize I'm a few hours later than normal, but I just got off a plane from JFK for the Rider Cup. So I hope you'll find you in your heart to forgive me. That was a great event. But the show must go on because we are back to a full field event this week. There are actually, as of right now, a handful of those

rider cupers playing all across the globe. I think we've got both Hoygards in the field here

at Sanderson Farms. We'll see if that actually happens. And then a lot of the Europeans are playing

on the Alfred Dunhill-Lynx Championship overseas. So yeah, like, let's let's go. Golf never

stops. We're going to jump right into this

thing and figure out, um, Country Club of Jackson, who plays well, who doesn't play well and,

uh, see if we can make a little cashola along the way. Let's go. All right, here's my site,

Country Club of Jackson fired up here. And what you're going to see is there's kind of two things

that really stand out statistically from this golf course when you start correlating the players

who have the most success at this course to their finishing positions, right?

So here we go.

We've got approach play, which ranks 13th, which is only 12 other courses on the PGA tour schedule

and which strokes gained approach is more important.

Always worth noting the strokes gained approach is incredibly highly correlated to success

in the value department, but ranking 13th

out of what 50 plus courses is also noticeable.

And then you get putting, which is the value alone starts cracking over that 0.2 correlation,

that point two R squared number there,

uh, that's pretty significant.

And there's only eight other courses in which strokes game putting is more important.

Uh, driving distance gets a little bit of a bump, driving accuracy, not really correlated
