Welcome to a special episode of Our Henhouse.

So excited that you're here with us because this is a very special time of year for the Our Henhouse family.

Back in 2017, we were able to have the distinct honor to be a part of a live-stage reading of a radio play called Sanctuary by the incredible playwright and novelist John Juncker, who we adore and who has been a recurring guest on Our Henhouse over the years.

The play featured the Our Henhouse team at the time, including myself, Jasmine Singer,

and Marianne Sullivan, your trusty, trusted co-hosts of the Our Henhouse podcast,

as well as John Frasante, Eric Milano, and Michael Heron.

We were able to perform it at Symphony Space in New York City as part of the Culture and Animals Festival at the time.

And we like to replay it. Everything's Giving for you, sort of like Alice's Restaurant, for those of you who understand that reverence.

And it's just something that we're grateful for

because we've always been big fans of the arts

as a means to create change for animals,

and this was just also a lot of fun.
