The shooting that killed two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C. last night, has sparked

international shock and outrage. Officials from the U.S., Israel, the United Arab Emirates,

the U.K., Italy, and other European countries have condemned the attack outside the Capitol

Jewish Museum.

France's interior ministry said it'll tighten security around symbolic Jewish sites throughout

the country.

And Germany's foreign minister announced that one of the victims, Yaron Lashinsky, held

a German passport.

Meanwhile, a witness to the shooting told CNN he initially thought the loud noises at the scene

were construction.

And he looked the suspected shooter, who is now in custody in the eyes.
