reason I have a world series ring and the reason why I have the greatest year of all

time in 2003 because this man chose to be a Marlin and took us all the way through San

Francisco, through Chicago, through New York, all the way to a Samson sit down. You've got

Oh, it's it's actually our pleasure. We talk about you a lot. People ask me all the time

about 2003 and I want to talk about that. That's only one part of your career though. I want

to start with the Hall of Fame. I got to go to the Hall of Fame to watch Andre Dawson

get inducted. I could not make it to yours. How was that to you when you were playing?

Did you know how early did you know that you were going to be a Hall of Famer?

Well, I get I get this question a lot and basically you don't, baby, you don't think

about that when you when you pretty much are playing in your career. I always I always think

to myself that I always want to stay healthy. I always want to do my best then and they

out on and off the field. Obviously and make sure I'm I've been great with the with the

media and fans and basically that's a that's very important. You know, a lot of fans and

people doesn't know that all this has to be all in ones. You know, it's not only playing

and and play great years and and winning awards. You have to basically pretty much be good

with the fans be good with the media always there with the media. Obviously with the owners

and all the people that works in the office coaching staff. All that has to come in
