I'm quite excited for this one because I've been trying to get Brad Williams on the show forever. We finally got it together.

Brad, welcome to nothing personal. Thank you for being here.

Thank you. Thanks for having me. I'm glad that we could get it worked out. I'm really excited to talk to you, David, for multiple reasons. One, I'm a fan of your appearances on the Lebitar show.

I like someone that just doesn't talk with any emotion whatsoever and just cuts out all normal human characteristics and is a robot and doesn't care.

I've read Machiavelli's The Prince and you are that guy.

And I like the fact that I'm talking to a guy who many of my friends don't like.

I've never even met me. Right. Well, it's some have. But, um, but so I'm fascinated because you seem to be a very polarizing person and and you're a person that I believe is a good human being.

You pay your taxes allegedly. You you remember what your kids majored in and and and you do you you try. I think in general, you're a good person, but you're also a businessman and and you are a successful businessman.

And I think that sometimes when you're the boss or right below the boss and you are in business and you make decisions that benefit the business, obviously not everyone is going to like those decisions.

So how do you not understand you are right now on tour. You're always on tour. Yes. Then August 1st, you're announcing your tour for 2024, which please go to Brad Williams comedy.com.

You got to see him live. However, are you do this for charity? All the tours you do just out of curiosity.

No, I do it to make money. In fact, it's so funny. You can mention that someone sent me a message this morning and said $30 for tickets.

What the heck man. And I wrote back and I said, well, I'm like, sorry, I don't do this for free. Also that $30 pays for the venue, pays for the pays for the employees of the venue, pays for insurance, pays for bills, pays for food and sort of broke it down gave them an itemized list.

No, we don't do this for free. I am honored that anyone would pay any amount of money to see me. And I am very thankful for that. But no, I'm not going to do it for free. Although I do do several charity shows throughout the year.

But for the most part, I got to pay my mortgage. My kids got to eat. And so yes, yes, I like to make money.

I'm saying that when the tour is done, that you go through the books and you would like to see a profit at the end of the tour. Is that possibly true?

In general, that is now I wish I could somehow make the taxpayers pay for my tours.
