You know, that time during the 1920s when alcohol was outlawed.

Here's a famous chant from those dark and dry times.

Whiskey is risky and rum is dumb.

You'll only find tea in my tum-tum.

Okay, no one really said that.

I made that chant up to amuse myself.

But it is true that prohibition was the era of moonshine,

bathtub gin, rum runners, bootleggers, speakeasies, and juice joints,

which also meant that many U.S. cities were overflowing with smugglers, mobsters, dirty cops,

and corrupt officials.

Today's episode is going to highlight the true story of some undercover agents

who will infiltrate and try to clean up this dirty business.
