I mean not only were United just kind of clueless in attack and misshapen at the back but as you say

started lumping it forward towards the end I mean the only real difference was 45 minutes of three at the back.

Yes, I, as will surprise few people I guess, I had a slightly more optimistic take on parts of the game where actually we did string three passes

together. I thought really, Van Har mentioned this, but the thing that struck me most is how nervous everybody looked and I think

that it's a sort of post-traumatic thing right it's their back at Old Trafford they they played with this freedom

and vivacity on in pre-season. And I don't think

it was really about the fact that it was pre-season and the opposition weren't trying as hard,

because I don't think today had a great deal to do with Swansea to be honest.

It just looked like United froze up again and one of the reasons that I'm really optimistic about it is I

just don't think Van Hal will let that continue.
