Samantha Fish is a badass. She's a guitar god cover of guitar magazine, that kind of thing.

And I know to some folks, maybe even sometimes myself included, that can sound like it's not a good thing because it can get a little wanky, as it were. But man,

Samantha Fish is not that. She is the good kind of guitar god. You know, I'm thinking just like connected,

like the guitar is an extension of her soul,

and she's not trying to show off how fast she can play notes,

how many notes she can fit into, you know, a song,

but rather she's communicating as one might with their lyrics or with their melody.

And she is doing such great work.

She's put out, as we discovered during the course of this interview, like 10 records.

And her newest one, Paper Doll, is a great album, great songs, great vocals, and obviously great guitar

work. She joins me from a day off on a rock and roll tour, a long, grueling rock and roll

tour from a hotel room in Chicago. Her Wi-Fi connection, eh, not the best. So there's a little

bit of dropping in and dropping out that happens,

but nothing that goes on for so long that I would recommend you not listen to this interview.

I feel like it's definitely worth saving and releasing this interview because it's great.
