Summary

Sam Wiles has never seen "Annie Hall," but he rewrote it and we read his script! Since this is a film with no baggage that has aged extremely well, is there anything that Sam can pull from to write what he thinks this movie probably is? Sam gives us his take for what "Annie Hall" probably is. We read his script, talk the legacy of whoever made that movie, and more! We play some Before & Afters, Character Card Head, and KyleDadGuessingGame (there's bonus games on the Patreon version of the episode!). Sam and host Kyle Ayers are joined by Annie-Hall-Expert Maddie Connors, and non-expert Joe McAdam. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

speak for itself. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So, so great writer, but very great actor. So it's tough to

2:13.8

know exactly how you feel about the man. Um, I have, I've, I've, I've only seen one Woody Allen movie ever. It's Broadway Danny Rose and I do like that movie. But I did watch the trailer for Annie Hawks. I wanted like something to go off of. And boy, is there not a lot to go off of it. It is simultaneously a movie that's impossible to describe and old trailers are hilariously. Yeah. They used to not tell you everything that happens in the movie. It made me be like, oh, we're better at trailers now. This sucks. Snipits of some of the most annoying things I've ever heard. I don't want to give too much away. Okay, great. Have either, have you seen Annie Hall? Yes. Also, yes. Great. I don't remember anything if that helps. It does. Yeah. I saw it in college and got, I have an Annie Hall poster that I think I got a garage sale in Columbia in like right around when I saw the movie or whatever before I knew anything about Woody Allen I was like
