My guest is the great San Vesini of the Athletic, and as you would expect, we spend a lot of time talking about the, I guess, pending-ish, 20-22 NBA draft, both how the top two players have fared and also the sales pitches for

Jabari Smith and Jaden Ivy, who have worked their way into the top picks conversation and

two guys that I'm less familiar with. So we had a fun talk and explaining all that and got into

some other stuff as Sam and I often do, including what's going on in Portland and various other

components. Conversation runs a little

bit under an hour, but a lot of good stuff in here. And we record this a couple days ago. So if there

are any references that seem a teeny bit dated, it would be because of that. But it should be
