Hello everyone, welcome to Cafferoo Cast. Frank the Tank is across from me and we have the

0:06.3

nomadic and great Sam so hold on the line. Thanks for hopping on here.

0:11.4

Yeah, thanks for having me up. No problem. So I don't think you and I have ever actually

0:19.1

talked and I remember maybe we have. I just kind of follow you along on your adventures,

0:24.1

but you basically just kind of travel around and hunt and film and do whatever from what I gather.

0:30.8

Is that correct? Yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it. Just do a lot of freelance stuff and then

0:39.6

on the side is to come more full-time but I've kind of become a school bus driver over the last

0:44.6

year and a half. But yeah, pretty much just all freelance work and go wherever the wherever the

0:49.4

job takes me. Gotcha. How long have you been doing that? I've been doing the freelance gig since

0:57.2

2012. My first job in film photography was actually 2011. I worked for a white tail show down in

southern Iowa and then moved out to Colorado for a little stint and then moved up to Montana and

dove back into film and photography and but doing that ever since.

1:28.0

and I did it the opposite. So I started all in film and it's no photography and then I started

1:34.1

to do a little bit more for myself and met a guy on a job who needed a photographer for an event

1:41.6

and I did a new product seminar for Remington Outdoors. He hired me on to come shoot photos of all

1:48.4

the writers that were going to be writing about the new the new products that Remington was coming

1:52.4

out with and that kind of launched me down the path of more photography. So I'd say I probably do

1:58.2

about, oh it's probably 80% photography and then 20% film each year. Yeah, so what are some of your

2:06.5

clients? I do a lot with Sitka and Onyx maps and doing stuff for Yamaha this year.

2:16.3

But I've worked with, I still do a lot for Yeti and but I've worked with Remington and
