This is time for couples therapy!

Hello everyone and welcome to couples therapy! My name is Naomi and my name is Andy and we are a real-life couple a real-life couple comedians and on couples therapy in quarantine we answer a couple of questions from a couple of different listeners.

Hell yeah you always start off Naomi with such a pleasant energy.

You know I'm really trying to take opposite action. If I'm feeling weary I try to start up.

I love both those energies and they both contribute to who we are as a couple.

Oh this is a great episode today.

You've seen him in so many things. He is an actor who has been doing the work. Most recently you have seen him on a million little things on ABC, search party on HBO Max, shameless on showtime and he has a movie podcast called Sam Pancake Presents, the Monday Afternoon Movie where he does 70s and 80s TV movies.

I have been on it twice and we watch the movies are so funny. They are such campy old movies. I watched the Steppford Wives Revenge, Revenge of the Steppford Wives and it's insane as you think it is. So check that out if you are into it.

But first you have to listen to our episode with Sam.

We actually did an episode like how long how early in quar I feel like we did that episode back in like September. Yeah it was it was like somewhat quote unquote early in quar that had Sam and Drew Drogey.

Long time friends, they were on the live show like a year more ago and it was like brilliant. We loved it. We've loved them separately for years and there was like you know this is early on in quar again early on quote unquote early on a quarantine and we didn't have the recording stuff down like we now have like an email.

Okay do this this and this so that we get like a decent recording. We didn't have that protocol down. Yes absolutely.

And it didn't the sound was it was unlistenable. Yeah. And we were just like oh but we love Sam and Drew so much so what we ended up doing is just doing separate episodes with them once we had the protocols down.

Yes. So this week is Sam next week is Drew. And it's beautiful. I mean we love to bring them together. But they're fulfilling on their own.

Yeah. So strap your goddamn cells in for quite a wild ride before we get there Naomi I want to call back to two episodes ago with Alec Mapa. Now we answered a advice question there about grocery store reward cards.

Right. And a woman called in with an advice question saying like she was at the grocery store and she got coupons printed out at the grocery store for stuff she never buys and she found out her ex has still been using their rewards card.

And we have learned since putting out that episode this is happening everywhere. Okay this has rampant. This is the true pandemic.

This is the real pandemic. People using the vaccine against using other people's rewards cards. Someone wrote us say anonymous. I don't know if they wanted their name with this story.

This is about my second to last serious boyfriend after I quit dating for good. I'm 47 and around 42. I was just done with babies. Liars. All I see now is red flags. I'm amazed when a couple works out.

Gorgeous. Okay. Love where this is starting off. So the main story. I had a pet boys rewards card and they put in parentheses car repair chain if you don't know.

And we both took our cars there when we needed fixing an oil changes back then I kept getting males with his name also on it which was irritating as it was not a good breakup for me and I was angry for several years and not speak to him.
