And joining me is my good buddy, AJ. Hey, Jay. What's going on, man?

Not a lot. Just hoping to watch The Avalanche win, you know, another 30 or so games over the next few weeks, months.

It seems like it all happen. And we're going to break all of that down here today. I'm very excited to talk hockey with you, as always, over the next hour and judging by the response on Twitter after we teased doing the show right before the holiday break, it sure seems like I'm not the only one. So it's going to be a lot of fun today. And I think the last time we had you on, we were just a couple weeks into the season.

The abs had won their first five games.

And we were like, okay, this team looks pretty dang good.

This is what we wanted to see from them coming out to start the year, making a statement.

And over the next two months since then, they've proceeded to lose just two games in regulation both of those

two eastern conference teams on the road and so i wanted to break down everything we've seen since then

and also look ahead a little bit towards the end of the season with you you know we were originally

going to do this on saturday morning coming out of the break And I'm sure glad that we waited till today because we would have missed out on one of the more interesting games I thought that they've played all year if we'd done it previously. On Saturday night, they go to Vegas. And they finally have to play from behind. And they get pushed in a game on the scoreboard.

They entered a third period down two goals.

Really one of the first times we've seen that be the case this season.

By my count, they entered the game having trailed for like 350 minutes in their first 36 games.

And then they trailed in that one for 46 minutes alone and the

level that you know we talked about this a lot with drans on the Sunday special but I really wanted to

get into it here with you today the level we saw them ratchet their game up to offensively in their

third period when they were pushing for for goals and trying to make that comeback was so fun to watch and really impressive and everything

you'd expect from this team. They wound up generating the 47 attempts, 19 shots on goal,

and three goals in the final 25 minutes, including the overtime. And so I wanted to break that

down with you in terms of kind of finally seeing that element, obviously not a situation you necessarily want to be in
