One of my favorite subjects is the resurrection.

The resurrection. And here to talk with us about the resurrection and many other subjects is Dr. Sam Hoyt.

We've done another program with Sam, and I hope you had the opportunity to watch that one.

He's written a book called The Judgment Seed of Christ,

and we're going to continue our discussion today,

but I wanted to move into the idea of prophecy and the resurrection.

I know that you are a student of Bible prophecy as well as a pastor-teacher.

Yes, and the Judgment Seed of Christ fits right into Bible prophecy. In fact,

the Bible indicates that the next event on God's calendar is the rapture of the church,

and following the rapture of the church will be the judgment seat of Christ that takes place

in heaven. And so we're looking forward

to that. You know, we both have our Bibles open to 1st Corinthians 15, which has to be one of the

best portions of scripture in the whole Bible, because it talks about the resurrection.

And Paul is talking about celestial bodies, terrestrial

bodies and he's talking about the glory of the celestial body and we remember the angel of the

Lord and we remember Christ appearing to John and the glory of the resurrected body and we read

on there's one glory of the sun, the moon, and stars.

And then he says, so also is the resurrection of the dead.

And we have spoken on our last program to some degree about what follows the resurrection,

the judgment seat of Christ.

But let's talk for a minute about the resurrection itself in terms of our

Christian living day by day. Because it's not, to me, it's not a distant subject. It's
