Sam Erson, perhaps poised for a return to the Flyers net, and Tyson Forrester makes an

appearance at practice. I'm Charlie O'Connor with PHLI Sports, and these are your Flyers post-practice

notes. So the Flyers had an optional practice today in Voorhees on Friday in the wake of their

big three-one win on Thursday night against the National Predators. That game wasn't national, but they came back late last night and then woke up and a few guys

hit the ice for skaters and one goalie hit the ice here in Voorhees for this optional practice.

But there was some news despite the fact that most players did not hit the ice today.

Now, Erison was placed on injured reserve last Thursday,

but he was activated just a little bit before last night's game. He actually served as the backup

to Dan Vladar last night against the Predators obviously did not get in any action as

Lidar was stellar in goal for the Flyers, but Aerson is officially back on the active roster,

and today he practiced in full. And it does seem like Aerson is nearing a return to the

starters net. In fact, this morning, Alexi Kolosov, who was still on the roster for yesterday's

game, even if he didn't dress. Colosov was officially sent back to the Lehigh Valley Phantams,

and now only two goalies on the roster,

Jess Erson and Vlodar.

But the big question is whether Ayrson will get the start on Saturday afternoon against Claude Jureus,

Ottawa.

Senators, we asked Rick Tocke that question this morning at practice, and his answer was maybe.

There's a good shot.

I think Erison's going to

practice today, get some shots. A few guys will go on today. And then we'll make a decision

for him if he can play tomorrow. But he seems healthy. But we'll see. You know, I'll take a look
