Netflix told me last week that USA Today had said that the docu-series was the number two TV series show in the

nation last week. That's pretty cool. Fantastic. It's really very good, and I urge people to watch it.

Why don't we start with that, Jim? Tell us a little bit about your role. First, I should say that the director

is Joe Berlinger, who is the Netflix number one

true crime director, and he's done a series on Jeffrey Epstein, Galane Maxwell, Ted Bundy,

Whitey Bulger, and some others.

I was very lucky when this first came down that a production company, actually there were four that wanted to do this, I got an agent at CIA, which is a big agency in Hollywood.

And they said, we're going to get you the best director and the best studio.

And they went right to the studio, Netflix, as opposed to the normal way, which is a production company tries to option the book,

and then they go to try and find a studio or streamer to buy it, like HBO, Hulu, or Netflix.

They did exactly that.

They got me the best director, treated me so well.

They optioned the book, so I consulted with them through all four of the episodes filming,

as well as they stayed very true to the book.

In terms of it was very fact-based, as you know, a lot of information disseminated within sort of like a thriller format.

So what happened was they had about a four-month pre-production period.
