Good morning, Southland. All right. Good to see you all. Glad you're good, excited to be here.

Hey, we've been talking a whole lot over the past number of weeks about grace. And if you're even here in the last two weeks, we're talking about truth.

But really, as we talk about truth, as believers, we're talking about grace. You that british preacher clip we saw it's just

all about grace all the time we've got nothing without grace it's all grace by grace through grace

just grace in fact i heard a story in the news last year that reminded me of grace that was a great

picture of it's true story it was about two brothers who lived in a city in Eastern Europe outside of Budapest,

hungry, and they were so poor that they were homeless, they were so destitute. The best living

situation they could come up with was living in a cave. Their mom was dead. They didn't have any

relatives alive that they knew of. They were just struggling to survive.

Well, about that time, a lawyer from Germany sought them out, found them, and let them know,

hey, you guys don't know this, but you have a grandmother that you have never spoken to who just died in Germany.

She was worth a ton of money,

and you two have just inherited $6.6 billion with the B dollars. I loved in the news story.

Here's their quote. This is one of the guys, oh, if this all works out, it will certainly make up

for the life we have had until now. All we really

had was each other. No women would look at us living in a cave. They're billionaires. All they

care about is getting a girl. Women were all the same. We're just really predictable.

But that picture of going from living in squalor in a cave to being rich beyond imagination is exactly what it means to encounter the grace of Jesus Christ.

Because it is nothing they did.

It was nothing they deserved, but inheritance was given to them anyway.

And when you are adopted into the family of God, it is nothing you did.

It is nothing you deserve.
