In the name of Allah, I seek refuge from the Holy Prophet.

The incredible companion in his journey and this part of the journey is the part that usually gets left out in the story of

of Salman. Meaning what? Typically, if you read the story of Salman and

Fatiha, it sort of stops when he meets the Prophet ﷺ and then that's it.

That's the end of the story. But then you're left to wonder what happened

after he became Muslim? What happened after Handa? What happened with his life

with the companions? What was his personality like? What was his interaction

like with the companions of the Prophet ﷺ? What happens later on in

history? Does he take part in the battles? And this part of his life is beautiful

and deep and I'd say underrated in the books, even in the classical books by the

way. When you read the story of Salman, you don't get enough of this part of

his story. But I wanted to start with something that really is one of the most

moving chapters of the book of Al-Fawad, Ad-Ba'ib-Nalqay'im al-Rachim Allah

Now of course a few years ago, Shakyasun and I, when we did the last ten night

reflections, we reflected on the Fawad, the useful things that have been of Al-Ima'ib-Nalqay'im

al-Rachim Allah Allah. And then this year we did Ibn Al-Jawzi,

Rahim Allah Sayyidul Khater, but at Fawad are the reflections of Ibn Al-Rachim Allah.

And he has a chapter, it's about page 60. The chapter is actually called Salman

Al-Farasi. It's a meditation on Salman Al-Farasi radi Allahu ta'ala anhu. And I

absolutely love this and it is so rich in Arabic, but I don't want to read the whole

thing, but I kind of do want to read the whole thing. So I'm just going to read a
