Alhamdulillahirrahbal alaameen wa salatu wa salam wa ala sayedam wa hamdin wa ala aalihi wa sahbih wa s-mahd.

Two questions today. The first of them.

Can you tell us the rulings regarding Salatu Shukr?

Salatu Shukr, or he wrote the Urdu Shukrana namaz, or Salatu Shukr.

And also is there such a thing as repentance prayer or prayer for tauba.

So this is the first question. Is there something called Salatu Shukr, or as we call it in our culture, Shukrana namaz?

The answer to this question firstly, it is definitely and authentically reported from the

Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that any time some good news came to him,

he would prostrate immediately.

And this is something that is reported in many narrations.

Of them, the famous Hadith of Abu Bakr al-Radi Allah, who had reported in all of the books of the Sunnah,

that whenever a good news came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

whenever he was told about any bushra, Kharrasajiden, shakir al-Lillahi azzawjid.

He would fall down in Sejda, as a matter of thanks to Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

And in the Musa of Imam Ahmed, that one of the sahaba said,

I was there when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was informed,

that a certain expedition he had sent was victorious over the enemy.

And his head was in the house of Ayesh Rati Allahu An,
