Mo Salah, we are less than a week on from the announcement that he will be leaving at the end

of the season.

Having yet had your initial reaction to it, what did you think when you first heard it?

I wasn't totally shocked in being honest because of the way the season's gone, because of

the way that the summer went. I think it was fair to say the Liverpool, although we signed that new two-year deal in April of last year, there's the most expensive contract in Liverpool's history, which was just reward for an incredible season. You know, 29 Premier League goals. They're absolute, you know, player of the season, you know, no doubt about that.

29 goals and I think it was 18 assists to Liverpool win the league by 10 points.

You know, looking at it back then, you know, had Liverpool not signed that new contract,

there would have been a mutiny, wouldn't it, because of what he had given to Liverpool that particular season.
