Liverpool won this weekend and moved within three points of Manchester City. on after that came at Brighton, Mohammed Sala Yerkenclops comments on his contract and also his agent's reaction on social media.

We did speak a little bit about this on Friday's Blood Red Podcast, so I don't want to go into too much detail, but as a quick recap,

Yogan Clop said Liverpool had done as much as what they could.

And then Rami Abbas I said, appeared to laugh at the suggestion with a cryptic tweet.

What was your kind of initial reaction to, first

the Yergen-Clops comments comments but then kind of the reaction to

those comments as well. Well we're in this kind of situation now that I feel is going to run for a couple of months yet.

And that is people basically jostling for their position in what is effectively a bit of bargaining and a bit of haggling that is going on currently.

It's clear now that obviously Liverpool have made a contract offer to Mohammed Sal Mohammed Sala, and it looks like he's rejected this.

And I can't say I'm surprised by that

because there are a few things at stake here, aren't they?

Mohammed Sala, arguably the best player in the world or one of the best plays in Europe at the very least.

Does he get paid the most money? Reflective of that. Probably not he gets paid very well but perhaps not in the legal of

some of his peers and he will be looking at this next contract there's probably the biggest contract of his career
