Dr. Yasser, welcome. It's a pleasure to have you here.

Welcome, welcome for having me on your podcast. And al-h-a-a-welcome for having me on your podcast.

And al-h-h-h-h-la, it's great to also hear and see of your progress.

We've known each other for a long time, you know, how many years.

And I've seen you, even when you're doing your PhDs and PhD and you're moving on,

al-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h Sheikh Yasser Qadhi, myself, I have a relationship through the academia for several years.

When I was writing my PhD, it's, you know, when you're writing a thesis or a book,

subhannah, it's a very lonely process. And sometimes you need that person just to pick the brain or ask a question.

And Sheikh Yasser Qaddi, despite his busy schedule, has always been generous with me with his time.

So I appreciate you again to be here and sitting with me.

And for the record, anybody who's interested in, you know, detailed stuff about advanced Islamic theology or modern stuff,

anything that intrigues me, I always carved time out for them

because I love, this is actually my passion is, you know, Islamic knowledge and, you know, especially

obscure topics that people are not interested in lectures about. So actually, your PhD topic was very

intriguing to me. And it wasn't just for your sake, I'ma, I'll be honest with you. It was also the topic.

Okay, I love the topic. And I love just thinking about these types of issues. And you're right.
