With professional great products for every industry, Granger as you covered. You want to call it, click granger.com or just stop on by. Right. So I've hammered that telephone number. You know what it is. If you want to use it, use it, use it or lose it. All right? If you want to hit me up on the X, do that. If you want to email me, you can do that.

I am not hard to find.

But, as promised, we start album number three by having a conversation. All right? If you want to hit me up on the X, do that. If you want to email me, you can do that. I am not hard to find.

But, as promised, we start our number three by having a conversation with a running back for the New Orleans Saints.

0:28.6

He signed with the team on March 11th after spending the last five years with Jacksonville.

0:33.2

He led the Jags with over 1,100 rushing yards and seven touchdowns last season. He won a national championship at Clemson in 2019. We are joined right now by Travis A. Chan. Travis, it's been a minute. Good to have you back on the show. Dude, how you doing? Yes, sir. It has been a minute. I'm just sides to be here. Well, it's good to have you here. Hey, let me ask you something. Given how productive you've been

0:55.5

throughout your pro career, you had options in free agency. As somebody who was born and raised

1:00.6

in Louisiana then, how much did that factor in your decision to sign with the Saints?

1:06.5

I know. It factored in a lot. Just had an opportunity for my parents to be close down to travel so far.

1:12.0

It's in my football games now. So I feel like that's really the best thing. And being around

1:15.8

family is important for me. I wonder about that. So your first game in the dome, when you have that

1:21.3

first game, have you thought about how many ticket requests you're going to have for family

1:25.8

and friends and what that number might look

1:27.8

like. I know. I didn't think about it actually, but I'm pretty sure I'll be up there at least, at least 40 plus to reach out, you know. But I'll just see how we take care of that, honestly. Yeah, you take care of that when you get there. And let me ask you this. Like this show also, he's always had a great, great relationship with the Jags and the town of Jacksonville.

1:47.1

So what are you going to take away

1:48.3

from your time in Duval? And what were some of your favorite memories of playing there and being

1:52.0

there? Just the brotherhood that we created, just the standard that we created there.

1:57.7

I feel like I'm very grateful for Duval for taking a chance on me out of college, you know, and I feel like I really grown into a football player, you know, I feel like I've learned so much. Uh-huh and I feel like Coach Coyne came in last year did a great job and just really helped my growth. And just the relationship I have with Trev, just been to get to eight years, you know, I feel like it's a little bit different looking for it, but excited for both to our future. This is a same friend back. Travis A. Jan, joining us. Speaking of growth, after your rookie season got wiped out by a foot injury, you rushed for 1,000 yards or more in three of the last four years. Last year, you had a career high of 13 touchdowns rushing and receiving. Do you feel like you're playing your best ball of your career currently? And is there still even room for you to level up even further? Most definitely. That's still a lot of room for improvement, you know. And I feel like what Coach Moore has going on, just the scheme that he has, I feel like it's going to be a great year, you know, and I feel like I just have to get to work, you know, just get to work and let everything take care of the stuff, you know. You know what's interesting about that, though, right? It comes down to opportunities. It comes down to fit and situation and scheme and opportunities. So it does beg the question, given the high number of carries that you've always gotten in the pros and in college, are you at all concerned about joining a backfield with a five-time pro bowler and Alvin Camara and sharing the workload between the two of you? Not at all. I mean, and honestly, quite frankly, I never really got the bulk of the carries maybe like once in the NFL, but other than that, I feel like it kind of like a running back by committee I feel like I've always done a great job being able to work with someone I feel like it just makes it better for both of us like every time we're out there we want to feel fresh and I feel like it keeps the defense on their toes you know they got to worry about two guys instead of one and I feel like it's's going to make the team better. That's healthy, man. That's definitely healthy. Travis A-chan, joining us. So I spoke to Tyra Shuck in January, and I was really impressed with his explanation as to how he approaches leadership and his process. If you had a chance to touch base with your new quarterback, and then how do you think personally, considering what you bring to it, how can you help his development as a young

4:01.0

quarterback in that

4:01.7

offense I know man I love Tyler I feel like you can just sense his hunger like you say you just

4:07.3

seen his demeanor he wants it and he's definitely earned it no one gave it to him and he got it's his
