Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

We are in Krakowv. We are right in front of the spot where St. John Paul II when he was Bishop and Cardinal would greet the young people each night, talk with them,

joke with them, pray with them.

And it's also right in front of the Franciscan Church where St. Maximilian Colby began his formal religious career teaching in the seminary here and it's also the spot where

John Paul II like to pray every day. We knelt on the wooden floor where John Paul prayed, where he had worn knee holes right

into the wood and we put our knees into them to experience with our bodies where

these saints prayed. So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and

the Holy Spirit,

let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

In 1938, St. John Paul II, then Carol Voitiwah and his father moved to Krakov, where Faustina was in the last months of her life and where St. Maximilian Colby was

broadcasting radio programs from

shortly after September 1st, 1939, Hitler and the Nazis invaded Poland, murdering 20% of the total population.

John Paul's father died in February 1941, leaving him completely alone in the world.

But it was at that moment that the

priest stopo arrested the priests from his parish

and before the priests were taken away to the concentration camps, the priests said to a

Taylor, Jan Tironowski, that he must take care of the young people.

Jan Tironowski was an introverted Taylor, a layperson, but he heard a sermon in which the priest said it is not difficult

to be a saint.
