Margaret Mary, a humble sister to reveal the depths of his love for us through his sacred heart.

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus calls us to surrender ourselves to his love and mercy,

to trust in Him above all else.

This can be hard to do in good times, and especially when things get tough.

Today, we will meet two sisters who learned how to lean on the sacred heart of Jesus

during an especially difficult time, World War II.

So to tell our story, we'll travel back in time to England 1940. The country stood united, but a shell of what had once been before the terror of war.

Fear looked around every corner, and despair had crept into even the happiest of homes.
