What's up and welcome to Ask Father Josh, the podcast why I get to hear you out,

listen to your questions, and then hopefully respond to them in such a way that it's helpful for

you and your walk to award eternity and your walk toward becoming the particular saints that

God our Father, His eyes for you to be. Here's how the show goes. You hit me up with questions

dealing with anything and everything from evangelization, catechesis, spirituality, justice,

morality, a discernment, relationship, advice, and I will try to respond in a way that is conducive

for you to grow in virtue and become a saint. However, disclaimer, I'm not perfect. I am very

broken in every now and then I might get some advice that in fact, it's really not helpful for you.

And so if that's the case, I want to encourage you to be free to just reject whatever it is that I

say that does not help you to become a saint. If it is, however, very helpful, but difficult,

then I want to encourage you to lean into Jesus Christ, so that Jesus Christ can give you the

So this is an exciting month for our nation. It's Black History Month and so today we're going to

do a Black History Month special and so on today's episode. We're going to talk about the need for

diverse images of Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the heavenly course of angels as well as the saints in our

churches and our schools and our places of growth for holiness. We're also going to discuss praying

through our experiences of racial inequality when we are the minority and the particular church that

we are growing in and also the impact of war on drugs and American Black families, particularly,

but in America. And so before we get into those awesome topics, we're going to talk about a glory
