At long last, the waiting is almost over as the much, much prophesied election looms.

We look at where the polls are sitting now, where the bookies are sitting now on what might

happen on Thursday, and encouraging people to turn out on Friday for a sort of lone individual

collective crowd outside Holly Rood for the benefit of the cameras, because

we will very probably end up with a pro-independence parliament, and with any luck, the same

will happen in Wales. So it could be a very big day, very big week for Scottish independence,

and we look at the kind of policy discussions that have

happened at Hastings as well. Also, did the King do the business over in the States in his

discussions with Donald Trump and the whiskey result? Was that also aided along by John Swinney or

by Douglas Alexander? Really weird kind of argument there. That's some of the

it was a lovely weekend for yachting.
