tollway. That's the stretch of Interstate 90 that connects O'Hare with the Woodfield Mall in

Our question asker, who wanted to remain anonymous for privacy reasons, lives right off the tollway

and has noticed construction crews putting up a bunch of these metal archways.

To find out, I headed to the Illinois tollway headquarters in West Suburban Downers Grove.

Greg Bedelov, the executive director, is excited to tell me what's up.

Bells and whistles and sensors and fibers and cables.

He's geeking out about the massive rebuild of the Jane Adams,

which hasn't seen an update since opening in 1958.

The rebuild is funded from tolls and will cost $2.5 billion.
