0:38.3	joining me. Thank you so much for having me. So I discovered your Instagram about a few months ago and I was like okay
0:45.5	2021 I have to have Holly on my podcast because you are just such a wealth of
0:50.2	information regarding child safety. Why did you start safe beginnings?
0:55.4	Well to be honest safety's been in my family for a long time. My dad worked in health and
1:01.0	safety. My sister was a lifeguard when she was a teenager.
1:04.8	And when I had my first daughter,
1:06.7	I realized that my existing education and career
1:10.7	in medical software wasn't really conducive to being a mother.
1:14.8	So I thought about what I loved about my work and what I didn't love and I landed on.
1:20.2	I really wanted to empower people and specifically I loved training adults and I
1:27.2	ended up becoming a first aid instructor with my sister and we very
1:32.4	quickly grew our business and I was able to leave my job and do this full time.
1:38.0	And since then I feel like it's a black hole I've just never been able to get out of because I became so passionate
1:44.3	about it so quickly. That's great and I love that you have experience in so many
1:48.8	different safety things obviously first aid child passenger safety, in terms of obviously car seat education as well?
1:56.0	Yes, yeah.
1:58.0	So I've been a first aid instructor for now over five years as well as a child passenger safety technician instructor.
