Big, important news day, you know, with this Sydney Powell story coming out, we are able to see that the Department of Justice is investigating in parallel with the January 6th committee.

And that's huge news for everyone who's wondering, you know, if Merrick Garland is doing anything, he is and he's been doing it for months and we had no idea until about a week and a half ago.

So this is really cool. And then later on today, I'm going to be talking with my friend Tommy Howell. He's running for City Council.

And we're going to talk about the importance of local elections, especially with the build back better and infrastructure money that's going to be coming to your city.

So fantastic. That's yes, local elections are important people all the way down up and down the ballot.

Don't we need to start reading the judges. I'm telling you right now, after some of the cases we've seen, we need to start paying a little more attention to the judges.

All right, top story today, Mark Meadows. He's facing an imminent threat of criminal contempt of Congress charges because they just came out 18 minutes ago and said we're going to refer to criminal contempt.

While he's suing Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the January 6th select panel. Good Lord. The former White House Chief of Staff has filed a legal action against Pelosi according to court records as January 6th select panel prepares to take action against him.

Meadows has claimed he can't discuss matters that could be covered by executive privilege.

Interesting that he just goes on Fox News to talk about it though on the judge. I think is not going to look kindly on that and I would bet my paycheck that that video him on Fox News talking about things that the January 6th committee wants to know about will turn up in as evidence in the lawsuit.

But the panel has rejected that claim, noting that President Joe Biden has not asserted privilege to block Meadows as testimony and President Joe Biden is the one who asserts privilege here.
