As we continue our kingdom series, we're in chapter number 29.

Matthew 19, let's pray together. Our Lord and our God, you are our king, and we are servants of your

kingdoms. Show us in our passage today how to be even more committed to our kingdom work.

We ask in Jesus' name, amen. Okay, Matthew 19, 10, through 12, the disciples are talking to Jesus along with some Jewish officials.

And the Jewish officials have been questioning Jesus about divorce.

Now, what they're trying to do is catch Jesus in some kind of wrong teaching or misapplication so that they can accuse him.

They've just asked him about marriage,

and Jesus has laid out pretty clearly that the only legitimate reason to divorce is for

marital unfaithfulness. And so here in Matthew 1910, the disciples are responding to that

comment Jesus has made to these officials.

The disciples said to him, if such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.

But he said to them, not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given.

For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men,
