Oh, I don't know about that.

I think that Mother's Day is a lovely celebration and a wonderful time to take a time out and honor your mother.

But I will tell you there's, oh gosh, who is the woman? I can't remember her name.

I follow her on Facebook. She's a writer. She wrote bird by bird.

She has a wonderful essay on why she hates Mother's Day.

Oh, dear. And I absolutely love it because she was saying like, I don't want my kids to feel obligated.

Well, she is one child, but she's like, I don't want my son to feel obligated to, you know, buy me a gift because the calendar says this date or to get me a card because, you know, a hallmark says so.

And so I do have, I do have that feeling about Mother's Day as well.

We put a lot of expectations, I think, on ourselves with all these, you know, superfluous holidays.

Really, that's what it is.
