So welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. We are in the chapel where Jesus revealed his sacred heart to St. Margaret Mary al-a-Cocke. Now Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacocke. Now Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary between 1673 and

1675 in Paray, France, where we are right now, and he gave her four revelations of his sacred heart,

in which he revealed his infinite love for us,

but also his sadness at the indifference which he receives,

but also what we could do to console his sacred heart.

The first revelation came on December 27, 1673.

It came on the feast of John the evangelist, John the Apostle, who rested his heart.

He rested his head on the heart of Jesus at the Last Supper, when Jesus gave the world

his sacred heart in the Eucharist. On December 27th, Jesus appeared to Margaret Mary

Alicoke, and he let her rest her head on his chest, just as John did at the last supper.

And then Jesus disclosed the marvels of his sacred heart to her.

So imagine she's resting her head on his heart.

And then he said to her,

My divine heart is so inflamed with love for all people that I am

unable to keep them pent up any longer. That is why I need you as the apostle of my sacred heart to make known to all people the love of my sacred heart

that that I may enrich them with my divine life and save them from hell but Margaret felt ashamed that her heart was so cold,

and Jesus, knowing how she felt,

he asked her to give him her heart,

which she begged him to take.

And Jesus took her cold heart out of her chest,

and he placed it in his own sacred heart,
