All right, welcome to the single track news. This is our February 2nd, 2026 edition, and it's actually

the first ever edition of this subset of the single track podcast in terms of what you can expect.

This is our weekly news rundown show, race highlights, top stories, athlete profiles,

honestly, anything miscellaneous from the prior week that was worth mentioning, we're trying

to get to a point as well where the long run archives, which is our talk show that's been

around for many years, also becomes weekly, and that in many ways, this series sort of cues

up those longer form, more evergreen conversations later in the week.

And I'm joined by our co-host for this, who you know through the Long Run Archives as well.

And that is Alyssa Clark.

Alyssa, how are you doing today?

I'm doing really well.

I am so excited that you broached this.

And I've had a few people say, hey, you should, like,

I'd love to see you in single track, you know, stay together longer. So I feel very honored to make this happen.

We're renewing our relationship for the long term. Now, the pleasure is all ours. You've been an amazing

addition to our media rotation. We're really just grateful that you're here. But we're going to

get right into it because this is the news. First headline here, Sabrina Stanley makes

comeback via the arc of attrition, Hunter-Miler. So last year, professional ultra-runner Sabrina Stanley,

she was diagnosed with and treated for ovarian cancer. She did not race at all in 2025.

Prior to 25, she was one of the better runners in the sport with wins at Hard Rock and

her podium at Western, multiple top 10 U-TNB finishes. Last week, she began her comeback with a fourth place finish at Arc.

This is a race over in the UK.
