Dominating the skyline of this festive community of largely white people in acceptable

Asians. Once again, I long to feel your moonlit nights.

Flying here from Portland today on a twin engine prop plane, I had the

stop, of course, to bomb the Japanese for a while. I'm joking, of course.

But what a astounding sight. The trees and shocking relief.

An endless series of azure lakes that crystal clear air fairly pulsing around the

propellers. And I would never ever do an ad for an airline, but they gave us free

wine. So hey, when you're on the twin engine prop planes, they tend to bounce around

a little bit, and the wine makes it both precarious and delightful.

Because as your inhibitions are low, and your fear factor starts to rise.
