Tonight's Make-Up story is a request from a listener in the Philippines,

who's eight years old and whose name is Sabia. And Sabia asked for us to make up a story

that includes him and his cousin Gabriela and also a white fluffy dog. And we are going to add

a mermaid to the story and socks. Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a superhero whose name was

Sabia. Most superheroes are grown-ups that wear costumes and save the day, but Sabia was a kid that was a superhero.

Sabia's superpower is that he was able to talk to doggies.

Usually, when people talk to doggies, the doggies could understand a little bit.

Like if you tell a doggy to stay, then the doggy could stay.

But if a doggy says, whoo-woof, then it's very hard for people to understand what the doggy means.

But Sabia had a way of understanding.

Whenever Sabia wanted to understand what a dog he was saying, he would have to say,

whoosh, who shawash, whoosh, who shawash, and then he would be unable to understand what the dogies made.

We were saying.

One day, Sabia's white fluffy doggy walked out of his house by himself with no leash.

And so Sabia went outside the house to chase his doggy to tell him to come back inside.

But the doggy ran all the way to Sabia's cousin, Gabriella's house.

And he barked at the door and Gabriella came out. The doggy wanted to play with Sabia and Gabriela.

And so Sabia and Gabriela followed the doggy, passed some trees way beyond the sidewalk, where you couldn't really see how much grass there was, where there was some open dirt and a bunch of big rocks and they saw

that their doggy, their white fluffy doggy, started to dig.
