Let's start with Harris's VP selection.

Tim Walls, Governor of Minnesota, what is your take?

I need to separate this out. I still think Shapiro would have been a strong take. Now I'm not

willing to say it is a worse take. I need to think a little bit still about how it goes. I want to also see some polling and just a general initial reaction.

Overall, the thing he's done most that's impressed me since he got on the ticket. There were two rallies yesterday. He's bringing a

ton of energy to the ticket. White suburban liberals who he won on the backs of in

2022 as Minnesota governor, very energized.

But the most important thing he's brought to the ticket

is his new line of joyful warrior,

which I think hits the exact tone nicely that they needed to change things up because obviously everyone

talks about the vibes, the vibes are bad with Biden.

Kamala can be okay at writing the vibes, but I wouldn't call her a setter per se whereas

Tim very astutely is picking up on this joyful warrior campaign and the smile and

I think that coupled with Democratic energy is a very very strong addition to the
