This is the last episode as we said of the first, but the beauty of this is that, as I said in the last few weeks, if you understand this group of five, you understand how Islam came to Medina.

And one of the beauties of this particular series is that some of the biographies are actually usually very short, but once you start to piece things together, you piece together the story of someone who may not have been given their due in Islamic history.

And when it comes to this man, Sayyidi bin Ubaadah, radiallahu ta'alaanahu, I want you to remember something very easy.

You have the Sa'ad of Oce, and you have the Sa'ad of Khazraj.

The Sa'ad of Oce, the Sa'ad of bin Mu'aad. Remember the Ansar were two tribes, Oce and Khazraj.

You have the Sa'ad of Oce, Sa'ad of bin Mu'aad, you have the Sa'ad of Khazraj, Sa'ad of bin Ubaadah.

And if these two men became Muslim, then everyone knew Islam was going to come to Medina.

It was resting on these two men.

Sa'ad of bin Mu'aad, radiallahu ta'alaanahu, typically his biography is a lot longer in the books.

However, what Sa'ad of bin Ubaad, radiallahu ta'alaanahu, will find much richness by the name of Allah in his story.

So Sa'ad of bin Ubaadah.

He is the son of Ubaadah, Ibn Duleim, who was the chief of Banu Sa'idah.

So a sub-tribe of Khazraj, which was the larger of the two.

So you had Khazraj and Oce, right, much smaller, at war with each other.

One of the sub-tribes of Khazraj is Banu Sa'idah.

Now, obviously, if you've been to Medina, that nice, beautiful garden is the Sa'idah of Banu Sa'idah.

That's their garden, that is their location.

So his father was the chief of that sub-tribe.

And his mother was a woman by the name of Amra bin Tmas'ud, radiallahu ta'alaanahu from Banu Najar,

who is going to become Muslim, lived to become Muslim.
