and today we've discovered Chaucer in C.S. Lewis's library. And helping us understand Chaucer

is C.S. Lewis's successor at Mordalin, Dr. Simon Horriban.

Dr. Simon Horriban is a British philologist and professor of English language and literature at the University of Oxford and a fellow of Mordland College. His research explores the history

and development of the English language, including spellings, dialects and the works of Geoffrey Chaucer.

His works highlight how English has evolved

and continues to shape culture and communication. And he is the author of Sears Lois Oxford and co-author

of Wardrobes and Rings with Malcolm Gite and Dr. Julia Golding. Dr. Horriban, welcome to Pints for Jack.
