then go on to think about Owen Barfield and Charles Williams.

Well, listeners, we had an Owen Barfield month back in season four, and to join us today in season

nine, where we're getting to know Charles Williams.

We began Charles Williams' month last week, talking to Greville Lindop about the third inkling,

his biography of Williams, and today

we're going to be taking a whistle-stop tour through the seven novels of Charles Williams.

And joining me today is not just one guest, but two. Dr. Serena Higgins and Stephen Keck.

Dr. Serena Higgins is a consulting editor, author, English teacher, and award-winning scholar

of British modernist literature. Her academic work focuses on the inklings, modernism, and magic.

She's a consulting editor and writing coach through Wordward and host of the Words Do Things

podcast. She previously edited an academic essay collection entitled The Inklings and King Arthur,

and is currently writing The Oddest Inkling and Introduction to Charles Williams due out from
