we're getting so used to doing this. It's only going into our fourth season, I think.

Fourth year, not season. Fourth year.

We've got through about seven seasons.

Fourth year. And that's the voice, as you all know, my partner, friend and co-writer,

I like doing the show just you and I. Yeah, so do I. Sitting around talking.

Makes it a lot easier.

See, it would be a lot better if you were shaking a container of martinis and passing one over.

So we got a letter last week from an email from James. You know, we specifically don't mention last names, by the way. I got James as a last name, but, you know, 50,000 people are listening to this and, you know, we don't want anybody contacted. So that's the reason we don't mention last names. I don't think we

ever explained that before, but with explaining it now. Anyway, James wrote an email regarding a book

that I recommended by the name of Target Blue, which was about the NYPD during the 70s that was

written by one of the deputy commissioners of the NYPD.

And James found the era fascinating, and he knows that I was on the job then during those years,

and he wanted to know how was police work any different than it is currently.

And Jenny, and I thought this is a great topic for a show.
