What is one harmful message you received growing up about body image / health / nutrition? Now that you are an adult, what would you like to tell younger you about it?
Today we are joined by Sarah Ann Macklin. Sarah is a renowned podcast host, public speaker, TEDx speaker, international model, and health journalist, she was also named Woman of the Year in 2019 by Rake Magazine. Today we discuss how being a model affected Sarah’s views on nutrition, health, wellness, and her relationship with her body. Because of her unique experiences and education she has created what she calls The 7 Pillars of Health. Each pillar represents an area of life based on Body Image, Nutrition, Self Care, and how we can practice each area striving for flexibility and balance between them.
With this knowledge Sarah, Kelsea, and Rachael, discuss what message we can send the younger generations about health and wellness, as well as tips on how to improve YOUR relationship within yourself.
