But for the next hour, I'm going to guide you all around North America visiting nightmare

after nightmare.

And to kick us off this evening, we begin with a story that takes place in a state not necessarily known for its UFO activity.

But Caroline in Florida has a story that might change all that.

Hi, Derek. My name is Caroline calling from Florida, and I wanted to share my UFO story with you. This takes place in Titus, Alabama, where I grew up. And Titus is a small rural town in central

Alabama, about an hour north of Montgomery.

So I was maybe 13 or 14 when this story happens, so this was about 2007 or 2008.

I don't remember what month it was, but I know I was out of school, and it was summertime.

I love spending time outdoors, and one of my favorite things to do during the summer was go out in our backyard and stargaze because I didn't have to be up for school the next day. On this particular

night, I couldn't have been out any later than 10 p.m. and I was sitting out on the back

deck of our house looking out at the sky. To give you a little context, Alabama's pretty wooded, so there are a few

large trees in the yard, and there's a tree line about 200 feet to my left, and another tree line

about 200 feet to my right, sort of lining either side of the property. But there was still a

wide open space where you can see plenty of sky, and it was a beautiful, clear, starry night,

not a cloud in the sky. So as I'm sitting there
