And what was the correspondence that you received the most?

Well, there are just a bunch of different stories. Here is, this one is my favorite.

This is a message I got on Instagram. It says, oh, here is a story about a recorder.

I am not sure why I picked this moment in seventh grade to become a rebel, but

we were going to learn the recorder in my seventh grade science class. And for some reason,

science, yep. For some reason, I was insulted that we were expected to play this stupid recorder

when we were supposed to be learning science. And I refused to participate.

Seventh grade me made a big scene about it. And my USMC United States Marine Corps

Colonel, dad had to come to the school and talk to the principal. We negotiated that I would

try it for two weeks. And then I could supposedly not participate if I didn't like it.

I waited and then I had that moment and I got kicked off patrols. But my dad said he would

always defend me as long as I showed integrity. So yeah, no hot cross buns for me.

I had someone and this is a perspective I did not think of someone sat in our Facebook group

that they're a teacher. And I didn't even think about how annoying it must be.

Oh my God.

Each the recorder. Because then you have class after class and it's all you hear all day is like

the hot cross buns thing. And I wrote this woman back. I was like, I did not even think about

what it must be like for you. And she was like, so my solution was to switch to ukulele.

Because she's like, I think it's better for my mental health than it really chills me out.

Which I thought was hilarious. And also like, how cool is it if your teacher brings in

ukuleles? And it's like, yeah, we're playing the ukulele now because I'm sick of recorders.
