Today we're truly honoured to be joined by a Sprinbok legend in Flip VDM and we have a lot of fun celebrating his incredible career which took him from playing alongside Viktor Matfield and Bakkies Botha for the Bulls to winning the Heineken Cup alongside Benders at Clermont. Ironically his career finished with him enrolling at Cambridge University and him playing alongside ex Australian captain and friend of the show James Horwill in the varsity game. Flip takes us on a journey from; the crazy initiations in South Africa, to the highs and lows of his career, the importance of being able to punch and take a punch, why he doesn't understand Archie's business openings, Eating banana's out of teammates asses, getting whipped by Bakkies, what university is like in this politically correct era plus much more.
Archie also gives us his thoughts on the upcoming six nations clashes including his view on the Welsh players threatening to strike and he's written and recorded a new song to inspire the English and Borthwick this week.....
