This season we've read through Paralandra, but this month we'll be looking at Jack's bookshelf.

Each season we dedicate a month to looking at the books and authors who shape the mind

and thought of C.S. Lewis.

As we all know from the last battle, it's all in Plato, all in

Plato. But it turns out there's a good lot of it also in another philosopher Aristotle. And as

our listeners know, since it's all Greek to me, I am joined by another Greek who is going to introduce

us to this Titanic thinker, Dr. Lewis Marcos.

He's a professor of English and scholar in residence at Houston Christian University, where he holds the Robert H. Ray Chair in Humanities.

He teaches courses on film, the classics, British Romantic, and Victorian literature, as well as on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. He's been on the show many times to discuss his books, including afterlife in the Western poetic tradition, and myth made fact. Last time he introduced us to Plato, drawing from his book from Plato to Christ, how

Platonic thought shaped the Christian faith.
