Today, we are continuing with our after-hour interviews.

And in this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Don W. King, who's been on the show several times before

to talk about Joy Davidman, Warnie Lewis, as well as Jack's poetry. But today we're

going to be talking about someone else's poetry,

but in connection to Perilandra, that being the poet, Miss Ruth Pitta. But first, let me just

reintroduce our guest today. Dr. Don W. King has been on the faculty of Monterec College since 1974,

where he is a faculty fellow and professor of English. From 1999 to 2015,

he served as editor of the Christian Scholars Review. His 90-plus essays and reviews have

appeared in many different publications, including Seven and the Journal of Inkling Studies,

and he's also the author of many books, which include

Inkling Historian, Soldier and Brother, A Life of Warren Hamilton Lewis, Out of My Bone,

the Letters of Joy Davidman, the Collective Poems of C.S. Lewis, a critical edition,

and Sudden Heaven, the Collective Poems of Ruth Pitta, a Critical Edition.
