Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, lax rats alike. Welcome back to another episode

of the crease dive. Today is Thursday, April 10th, Thursday at the Masters. So I know

that there are a bunch of lax rats who have to be down at Augusta National right now, taking

Daddy's private jet down there,

catching a couple rounds, throwing some green jackets on. But I'm Dordy from Barstall with me.

We've got Dugues in the lab. Dugues, just real quick, quick clap for old dudes right here,

put in a massive season on the college basketball front and

college basketball comes to an end with the Florida Gators chomping it up in the national

championship so Dugues won college sports season down for you we're still right in the throw

things with college lacks but it has to be a little bittersweet, a little exciting, though, that the college basketball

season come to an end and you're not pulling double duty anymore. When you're also in sports,

when you're in like sports media, I hate that, oh, that sounded gross. I hated that. Sports just

like social, podcasting, whatever you do in a sport.

You got into it because it was your hobby at one point.

Like, as I'm sure you know, with, like, the Flyers, Philadelphia sports, it's your hobby.

It's your passion.

When your passion becomes your job, it can be a pain in the ass at times. So I'm so pumped that college basketball is over, but it's also bittersweet because I love the sport so much. Now it's all lacrosse, baby. Now it's all across. It's lacrosse can officially start. I think it's a fourth time I said that this year. Yeah. It's a fourth official start of lacrosse. Just quick, you know, on a tangent, because, you know, we don't get a chance to talk every single day. So sometimes I do like having these random conversations. But the sports media, the sports media, because that's anytime anyone asks me, hey, what do you do, like, what do you do for work?

Like, I can't say, oh, I'm a blogger, you know, because then they're like, uh, okay, like, that's, like, yeah, that's gay. Okay, petto. And, and then they're like, uh, so like, but like, what do you actually do to make money? So like I always, I always say sports media, and it always feels like so, like, it almost feels like stolen valor. We are sports media, but it feels like stolen valor because they're like, oh, like, do you go to all the games? Like, are you in, like, all the press conference scrums, like, asking all those questions? I'm like, nah, just watch from my couch and like, you know, if someone like chugs a beer in the stands, I write about that.
